This year will be an exciting period of growth for Charles MacPherson Associates. Our long tradition of delivering excellence to the Luxury Residential market is being extended to the Luxury Hotel market. We now have four clear and complimentary lines of business that define our luxury offerings:

Placement

We specialize in the placement of key personnel positions like Estate & House Managers, Butlers, Private Chefs, Executive Housekeepers, Chauffeurs and more. An insider's knowledge of the common problems faced by employers, supported by a strict adherence to a standard of protocols and procedures, provides a firm foundation from which our Placement Specialists assist employers to achieve their staffing solutions.

Our service is total and methods are designed to ensure our relationships, with client and candidate, are lasting and consistent with our standards of excellence.

Consulting & Advisory

Using our proven methodology and process, we assist our clients to review and examine staffing plans, policies and procedures, and performance standards as well as providing custom designed training programs for residential and hospitality personnel.

As well, we produce mechanical and cleaning manuals that capture vital household information into professionally bound volumes. Using laymen's language and the aid of photographs, the manual is an important reference resource for households that want to optimize the management of their mechanical systems and housekeeping standards.

Software

The Residential Management Suite (RMS), exclusive to Charles MacPherson Associates, is the world's first web-based software program that fully integrates every important aspect of running a luxury home(s) efficiently and safely.

With its modular design, RMS is a flexible and invaluable tool to keep a large household running smoothly, allowing staff members with different responsibilities to share information and understand the needs of the homeowners, their guests and the physical structure itself in "real-time."

Academy

For the first time, a permanent school for training Butlers and Household Managers is opening in North America. Located in Toronto the Academy will employ a formal syllabus in pursuit of its mandate to train and educate the next generation of private service professionals for the North American market. Because of tremendous demand, the Academy will also be offering a one-week course on housekeeping.
